Fort Lauderdale, Dec 2024: 4/14 Movement Leadership Gathering
December 5–7, 36 global leaders representing 13 countries across Europe, Africa, Latin America, Oceania, North America, South Asia, and Southeast Asia gathered for the 4/14 Leadership Gathering. Participants included movement founders, global network leaders, and emerging younger leaders, representing organizations such as Lausanne, WEA, Viva, E21, Next Gen Collab, and others. The gathering was a prayerful and strategic moment to seek God’s direction for the next season of the 4/14 Movement.
Through focused prayer, reflection, and collaborative dialogue, leaders aligned around a shared vision for the next five years. Using research, collective impact principles, and strategic frameworks, the group assessed the changing global NextGen mission landscape and identified key opportunities for greater impact. Three strategic priorities emerged to guide the movement forward: Advocacy for children and youth, Catalytic Events, and the expansion of Equipping and Training for leaders worldwide.
The gathering concluded with clear action plans launching in 2025 and the formation of an intergenerational global leadership team to guide the movement. As 4/14 enters its next season, it is becoming a more agile, church-centered, and globally connected mission movement dedicated to advancing God’s heart for children and youth around the world.
Dallas, Nov 2025: 4/14 Global Catalytic Event
The 4/14 Movement recently convened a global Catalytic Leadership Event in Dallas, TX, bringing together 35 leaders from churches, ministries, and international networks committed to the spiritual formation and discipleship of children and the next generation. This gathering built on the momentum of the December leadership meeting and expanded participation by inviting additional leaders from across the global church to help shape the next chapter of the movement.
Over two days of prayerful dialogue and collaboration, leaders aligned around a shared theological and biblical foundation rooted in Imago Dei and Missio Dei—affirming that children bear God’s image and are active participants in God’s mission. The group formally launched a new advocacy focus: Child Participation, calling the global church to move beyond seeing children as recipients of ministry and toward recognizing them as co-architects of ministry.
A key outcome of the gathering was the adoption of the 4/14 Advocacy Framework, shifting from the former “4R” model to the 4A’s:
Together, these outcomes mark the beginning of 4/14 Version 3.0—a renewed, church-centered, and advocacy-driven global movement committed to seeing children not only reached, but heard, empowered, and released into God’s mission.
